Advocacy is central to Camille’s practice. Whether in the office, the boardroom, or the courtroom, Camille is focused on knowing the law, the client, and the best path to achieving the client’s interests - the underpinnings of effective advocacy.

Camille gained extensive litigation and courtroom experience through her involvement with Student Legal Assistance in law school. In that role, she ran numerous trials and contested applications in the Provincial Court. In 2016, Camille was awarded the Provincial Court Judges Award of Merit, in recognition of her involvement and advocacy through Student Legal Assistance during her 3 years of law school.

While in law school, competing in various advocacy training and competitive programs was a priority for Camille. These experiences increased her knowledge and competency. In 2015, Camille placed second in the Borden Ladner Gervais Trial Competition. She also represented the University of Calgary Faculty of Law in the 2016 Western Canada MacIntyre Cup Trial Competition.

Camille has also focused on building her negotiation and alternative dispute resolution abilities. She earned second place in the 2014 Dentons Negotiation Competition. After placing first in the 2015 competition, Camille moved on to represent Calgary in the 2015 American Bar Association Regional Negotiation Competition.

Camille graduated summa cum laude from St. Mary’s University Calgary in 2013 with a Bachelor of Arts in English Literature. She completed her articles with Davidson Fraese Family Lawyers and was called to the bar as a member of the Law Society of Alberta in 2017.
